The Tranquil Slice

The Tranquil Slice

Sip, breathe, unwind — you've earned it.

A cooling, serene sipper that channels the pure bliss of a cucumber spa day. Crisp cucumber and elderflower bring a fresh, floral calm, while aloe vera liqueur and white tea–infused vodka evoke the soothing, skin-deep luxury of a full spa treatment. A whisper of lime and a salted-honey rim tie it all together — refreshing, elegant, and utterly restorative.

Glass: Chilled coupe glass with a salted-honey rimGarnish: A thinly sliced cucumber wheel and a small sprig of fresh mint laid across the rimPrep: 5 minutesDifficulty: Medium

Ingredients

  • 2 oz white tea–infused vodka (steep 1 white tea bag in vodka for 30 min, then remove)
  • ¾ oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
  • ½ oz aloe vera liqueur (e.g., Chareau)
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz fresh cucumber juice (blend and strain ~¼ cucumber)
  • ½ oz honey simple syrup (1:1 honey and warm water)
  • 1 dash orange blossom water
  • Salted-honey rim: mix fine sea salt and a drop of honey on a small plate

Instructions

  1. Prepare the white tea–infused vodka in advance: steep one white tea bag in 2–3 oz of vodka for 30 minutes, then remove the bag and set aside.
  2. Rim a coupe glass by lightly pressing the edge into a thin layer of honey, then into fine sea salt. Place in the freezer to chill while you build the drink.
  3. Add the cucumber juice, lime juice, honey simple syrup, elderflower liqueur, aloe vera liqueur, and orange blossom water to a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add the white tea–infused vodka.
  5. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until well-chilled.
  6. Double-strain through a fine mesh strainer into the chilled, rimmed coupe glass.
  7. Float a paper-thin cucumber wheel on the surface of the drink and rest a small mint sprig across the rim to garnish.
